“Seven Rules for Dealing with Non-Catholic Family and Friends over the Holidays” on Morning Air, Monday

by Steve Ray on December 21, 2015

This is always an interesting topic that floods the phone lines. I will be on Relevant Radio’s Morning Air on Monday discussing how we as Catholics can relate to and influence our family and friends.

Ready to go! Holidays often caused tension and strife among families. How can we take the high road and be a positive influence for Jesus and his Catholic Church?

It used to be “Six Rules” but it is now “Seven Rules.”      Here they are: 1) Don’t Argue, 2) Love them more than ever, 3) Pray and make sacrifices, 4) Show the Joy of the Lord, 5) Do your homework, 6) Be patient, 7) Ask God to bring someone else into their lives to influence them because they are not going to listen to you.

Good advice! Let’s hope I can follow it. It is so difficult when you know you are right!
